Well, I have to say there is so much information in the internet, sometimes make me like crazy But the most important thing that I can learn is: we must focus to succeed! An easy example: I have focused all my energy on SEOcontest2008 for two months to achieve Top10 SEOcontest2008 Winners. Thanks my Google friends

SEOcontest2008 will end in a few hours. Actually I don’t want to post anymore about SEOcontest2008 news, but when I check my SEOcontest2008 blog rank there is something strange there. Here is the image of my blog rank:

My SEOcontest2008 blog rank is 15! That’s good. I am in the Top 20 in this SEOcontest2008 :). But something strange that I mean is Google Cache Date shows Mar 24 2008. Ghost, it means that is the last crawling/indexing by Google on my blog! Now is April 1 2008, and Bagi from UK Webmaster World says that the due date is April 1 2008 at 1 PM UK time. So, I only have a few hours to attract Google indexing my SEOcontest2008 blog.

Well, I must add some ping service links in my SEOcontest2008 blog, exactly on WordPress Service menu, especially concerning with Google ping service. This is my last chance to win the SEOcontest. I wish Google helps me. At least I can get higher rank on my SEOcontest2008 blog.

I think this is my last posting concerning SEOcontest2008 event. But I still have one special page to say “thank you” to whom that have supported and helped me in this SEOcontest2008. I will publish it later. Last night I visited http://www.jennieforindonesia.com, my friend’s blog Jennie S. Bev. She reminds us that 10 years ago there was a Humanity Tragedy in Indonesia. SEOcontest2008 blogs totally fight harder in this week. Webmasters of SEOcontest2008 are doing hard working, no weekend vacation anymore if needed. Personally I thank Google and UK Webmaster World that facilitate this great SEO contest. In less than two months we can learn more about SEO in this SEOcontest2008.

SEO is the most interesting art I’ve ever known. In SEOcontest2008 you can learn how to manage your skill, your time, your efforts, and anything to do your best. In SEOcontest2008 you also learn how to get backlinks, make a good post, interact with other people, and customize your blogs. I think time goes too fast. It’s a pity SEOcontest2008 is only for two months. I will miss it.

SEOcontest2008 is well so far. Some blogs look give up, don’t want to continue their optimization. I realize this because SEOcontest2008 is only 15 days left. Only a few blogs are still trying to do better optimization. I need supporters for this. But from where can I get loyal supporters? It is not soccer games like World Cup that has many supporters. I must find my best supporters that can support me in this SEOcontest2008.

After thinking about SEOcontest2008 supporters for 1-2 days, finally I find them. They are my own lovely family! They can support me from the bottom of their hearts. Here it is the best supporter SEOcontest2008 picture.

I will tell you who they are and what their comments or reactions about my SEOcontest2008 rank. Start from the left behind to the right, there is Andi Setiawan. He is my fourth younger brother. He loves my children so much. He says: “Brother, I want to be like you, know about Internet Marketing and SEO. I will join other SEO contests like SEOcontest2008.” Next is Christian, my oldest son. He is a very clever and smart boy. He says: “Father, how can you jump from page 5 to page 2 like that? That’s amazing!” Next is my calm and loyal wife, Sunarningsih. When I ask for her comments, she just says: “Everything you do it’s up to you my husband. I just want you become a winner in this SEOcontest2008. At least the fourth winner, so we can buy ton gallons of milk for our children ” Next is my first younger brother, Wahyu. He is a quiet boy. He likes to join some chess games competitions. Maybe he is thinking: “Where can I join chess games online competitions like SEOcontest2008 ?” And at the right corner is my youngest brother. He is a calm and smart boy. He studies biology at the University of Indonesia. He only says: “Brother, I am sure you will do your best in this SEOcontest2008.”

At the second row of SEOcontest2008 supporters picture there are my mother, my daughter Natalie, and my father. Here are their comments for SEOcontest2008 I join. My mother says: “I am proud of you, my son.” My daughter Natalie maybe is thinking: “Why can’t my father achieve rank 1 so far? I don’t believe this.” And my father says: “I support you 100% my son.” The last comment of SEOcontest2008 supporters comes from my youngest son, Michael. He shouts loudly: “Wow, my father, your SEOcontest2008 blog is on page 2 now. You are the best father in the world, yeah!” We laugh together. Me, at the bottom right corner of that picture, wish quietly in my heart: “My dear Heavenly Father, thank You so much for a big family You have given to me. I love them so much. Please give me a chance to make them happier by winning this SEOcontest2008.”

SEOcontest2008 is one of good SEOcontests I’ve ever joined. I am one of the AsianBrainers, the people who learn Internet Marketing in AsianBrain.com, Indonesia. I joined AsianBrain in November 2005, the first lifting for that time. AsianBrainers called me “Colonel MES”. But I joined only for one semester. Then I learn by myself, especially about SEO. I like SEOcontests so much, including this SEOcontest2008.

SEOcontests2008 is one of good SEO contests I’ve ever joined. The first time I join SEO contest is “Orang Paling Keren” SEOcontest, conducted by Anne Ahira. She is my guru in AsianBrain. I thank to her for everything she has done. Then I joined Ambatchdotcom SEOcontest, Retsambew dash klat for charity SEOcontest, and Globalwarming Awareness2007 SEOcontest. So, SEOcontest2008 is my fifth SEOcontest.

I think it is the right time for Indonesian people, especially for AsianBrainers to join International SEOcontest like SEOcontest2008. Dwi “Pogung177″ has proven us that Indonesian people can reach no.1 at Google SERP for the keyword “SEOcontest2008″, eventhough just for awhile. I hope there are many Indonesian people and AsianBrainers will join International SEOcontests in the future, like I join SEOcontest2008 now.

SEOcontest2008 now entering the day 10 this month. I just want to give you update status: number one is my friend Dwi “Pogung177″ from our country, Indonesia. I am proud of him. Congrats Pogung…! Finally an Indonesian can reach the first position in this SEOcontest2008.

There are also contestants from UK, French and Philippines at the first page of Google SERP. I hope Indonesian contestants can dominate the first page. There are still 21 days left. I know it could be hard for all contestants of SEOcontest2008 to do their best. Me too. Well, what others SEO technique should I use? I am not sure. I just want to try and try any possible techniques to win this SEOcontest2008.

Now I am still at 35 check point. I must do some actions to get higher ranks in SEOcontest2008. I think I still have “any weapons” to combat. I should try them. I hope my rank is better in next few days. Honestly, I really like this SEOcontest2008.

Many SEOcontest2008 participants do not have favicon on their sites. Favicon is a small picture on the left of your site address bar. I think it is good to add favicon, and here I give you the tips of favicon plugin for SEOcontest2008.

I used Degraeve (http://www.degraeve.com/favicon/) when I created favicon a year ago (before I joined SEOcontest2008). But using this tool is not simple. You must find the suitable picture, convert it into .ico, get the code from Degraeve and then place it into your header.php

With favicon plugin from MaxBlogPress (http://www.maxblogpress.com/plugins/mfi/?u=) you can create favicon easily. Let your blog stand out amongst thousands of others. Just do 3 easy steps: Click “Download Now” button on MaxBlog site, install the plugin, and choose the icon you like. Or you can download other icons given there.
